With Paulo Thiago’s win over Mike Swick this past weekend UFC’s welterweight division just got even more interesting as Thiago boasts a 13-1 record that includes ten finishes by way of knockout or submission. The Brazilian special forces officer is definitely making a name for himself as one of the elite at 170lbs and his next opponent will be an interesting choice for matchmaker Joe Silva.

For our money, Paul Daley would be an excellent choice for Thiago as his stand-up game has yet to be matched inside the octagon, and Daley has proven to be one of the most devastating strikers in the the game. If for some reason you have yet to hear of Paul ‘Semtex’ Daley (23-8-2), the pride of Nottingham, England, then you might want to take four minutes to check out the video below featuring some of Daley’s finest work:
