Canseco Agrees To Train With Gracie Camp For Walker Bout

Canseco Agrees To Train With Gracie Camp For Walker Bout

Jose Canseco (0-1-0) is continuing to manipulate the media into hyping a non-existent bout with Herschel Walker as he announced via his Twitter account:

‘My people spoke with Cesar Gracie today. Looks like things are moving at a fast pace. Dan Black and Cesar seem to have a plan together. Just so you know, I was not professionally trained to fight in any of my other fights. Things will be different this time around.’

Canseco’s report is confirmed by GracieFighter.com which posted the following on February 3rd:

‘Our camp has been contacted by a representative of Jose Canseco in regards to his desire to fight former NFL player, Herschel Walker, in a future Strikeforce show. We have agreed to train Canseco should this matchup happen.

After having produced 3 of the current Strikeforce Champions, we are confident we could make Canseco into a formidable opponent for a future Canseco vs Walker fight.’

Fans take note of the key phrase ’should this matchup happen’ which it almost certainly will not. If Walker is serious about taking mixed martial arts serious, he should heed the words of UFC President Dana White who said it best:

‘Are you kidding me? You’re talking about that? We’ve got Georges St. Pierre, Anderson Silva, Brock Lesnar… all these guys that are incredible athletes that put all this hard work and and time and energy into it, and you’re talking about goofy ass Jose Cansesco fighting? CRAZY Man!’
