Video game retailer GameStop announced today that Marcus ‘The Darkness’ Jones (4-2-0), one of the stars of ‘The Ultimate Fighter: Heavyweights’ and former defensive standout for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be featured as one of four unlockable bonus characters in the upcoming ‘UFC 2010 Undisputed’ video game that is set for release on May 25, 2010.
Jones is the second such character that has been announced after fellow ‘TUF: Heavyweights’ competitor James McSweeney (41-7-1) was announced as having been digitized for the game last month. There are expected to be four unlockable characters in total that can be obtained by pre-ordering a copy of UFC 2010 Undisputed through GameStop which will include “a code and instructions to unlock the GameStop exclusive fighters will come packaged with your game.”
Thus far only two of the four characters have been announced and it appears that GameStop is on pace to reveal one character per month leading up to the May release date. Screen shots have not been released for these characters as of yet, but here is a look at the official game trailer:
